Laura was first introduced to UNICEF through her company’s partnership with the organization, where she had the opportunity to visit Cambodia on a field visit and see her company’s efforts first hand. Returning back to Chicago, she reached out to UNICEF with the desire to volunteer outside of her company's intermediate and came across the UNICEF Tap Project City Coordinator position.
Maggie-Mae's Halloween Party
Maggie-Mae came up with the idea to host a Halloween Party to benefit UNICEF and invited eight of her closest friends to join in the fun! Parents, neighbors, local shopkeepers and friends also joined in, providing decorations to enhance the partie's atmosphere as well as monetary donations, to benefit UNICEF.

On October 31st, Isla Wilson and her husband, hosted a Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Halloween Party at their home in Oregon. The Wilsons were one of 625 registered party hosts who participated in the 2008 campaign.
